Principal Data Engineer, GroqCloud

Mission : As a Principal Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing a robust data platform that integrates data from multiple sources, provides real-time analytics, and enables data-driven decision-making. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from various business functions, you will identify and prioritize data needs, uncover new data sources, and develop a deep understanding of the organization's data landscape.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role :
- Design and implement data pipelines using Airflow, DBT, Cloud Functions and other data engineering tools.
- Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses using Postgres, Google BigQuery, and other warehousing solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including internal systems, external data providers, and cloud-based services
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize data needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain data models, data governance policies, and data quality standards to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Design and implement data visualization and reporting tools using modern BI tools.

Compensation : At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $248,710 - $407,100, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
Location : Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
