Family Law Attorney

Duties :

Represent clients in all area of family law, including : divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.

Mentor junior associates and supervise their work

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and discovery demands.

Conduct depositions.

Organize and maintain case files and documents.

Communicate with potential new clients, clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Schedule appointments and manage your calendar.

Represent clients at court hearings and argue cases

Represent clients at mediations.

Negotiate and settle cases.

Qualifications / Expectations

J.D.

Ability to consistently bill 6 hours per day.

Prior Family Law attorney experience of 5-7 years.

Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations.

Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
