Gross and Company are conducting a Personal Injury Law Firm client search for a skilled and driven Civil Rights Trial Attorney. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in litigating and trying civil rights cases, a strong commitment to justice, and a passion for advancing the cause of civil rights.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage a caseload of civil rights cases from inception to resolution, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, and trial.
- Conduct detailed legal research and craft effective legal arguments to support the clients position.
- Prepare and argue motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine.
- Represent clients in court during hearings, mediations, and trials, including as first-chair trial counsel.
- Depose parties, witnesses, and experts, and prepare expert witnesses for trial testimony.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop comprehensive case strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication and compassionate legal guidance.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for systemic change through impactful litigation or settlement outcomes.
