Gross and Company is conducting a Personal Injury Law Firm client search for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal . The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in personal injury law and possess strong organizational and client service skills. This role involves managing all aspects of case preparation and support for attorneys from initial client contact through resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Manage and organize case files, including maintaining a detailed and accurate case management system.
- Conduct client interviews and gather essential case information, medical records, and supporting documents.
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel on case-related matters.
- Coordinate and prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial notebooks.
- Assist attorneys with drafting demand letters and negotiating settlements.
- Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines, filing requirements, and statutes of limitations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions.
