Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Lifeguard at Water’s Edge Complex in Grosse Ile Township, MI. The Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers by monitoring activities in and around the water, preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and providing first aid. Additional duties include maintaining pool safety equipment, performing regular pool maintenance, and educating patrons on water safety rules and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in swimming and lifesaving techniques
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency medical procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to instruct and interact with patrons
- Ability to stay alert and act quickly in potentially hazardous situations
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform rescues and other duties
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
