What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toll Bridge Seasonal Bridge Attendant position at Grosse Ile Township?
The Township of Grosse Ile located in Wayne County, Michigan is soliciting resumes until March 26th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. for the position of Seasonal Bridge Attendant. This position involves the collection of tolls, operation of the swing bridge (depending upon staffing, this task may not be necessary), escorting vehicles across the span, and minor maintenance and janitorial duties. More specifically, these duties include, taking cash and processing credit cards, generating reports regarding toll transactions, and manual labor associated with maintenance, traffic coordination, and interfacing with toll bridge customers. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen and physical are required for employment. Rate: $14.50/hour. The position is full-time but will not exceed 90 days in length.
