Grossi Electric, Inc. is seeking an electrical drafter/designer with 2-3 years minimum experience.
Skills:
- Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics based on specifications provided by engineers and designers (instructions for installation of voltage transformers, underground cables, and other related electrical equipment)
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and objectives
- Utilize drafting software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks to create accurate and precise drawings
- Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings as required
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafted designs
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and designers
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions
- Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications or cross-sections of underground cables
- Work with customers, vendors, and other contractors, purchasing, and service departments to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and expectations
Requirements:
- Proficiency in layout design and electrical wiring principles
- Experience working with logic controllers and other electrical systems
- Superior knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, Microsoft office
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to produce precise and error-free drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and modifications
- Excellent communication skills

- Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy/efficiency

- Able to create, file and update drawings, BOMs and other information

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
