Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with client expectations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering services, guest accommodations, and transportation.
- Manage budgets effectively while seeking opportunities for upselling additional services.
- Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during events.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote events and enhance guest engagement.
- Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Evaluate the success of each event through feedback and metrics to improve future planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management related to event planning.
- Experience in catering coordination is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
