Business Immigration Paralegal

This is a hybrid remote position requiring work to be completed in our Silver Spring office a minimum of 1 day per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that immigration documentation is drafted, organized, and filed in a thorough and timely manner
- Draft responsive/ informational emails and letters for attorney
- Draft exhibit tables and organize exhibits
- Respond to client and foreign national (FN) inquiries
- Inform attorney and clients (employers and FNs) of important matters, e.g., case status, filing deadlines
- Implement appropriate immigration strategies based on discussion with attorney
- Research issues and provide results to attorney
- Organize material for attorney teleconferences
- Provide substantive comments regarding templates
- Responsible for “touching” each case on docket every week and following up with each client weekly as appropriate
- Ensure that database records (timelines, status documents) are up to date and accurate
Required education and experience:
Bachelor's degree, 1-2 years’ experience preferred, but not required
