Job Skills / Requirements
This position is a full-time, hands-on, salary position at $18 per hour. This is an ideal position for someone with prior supervisory experience, who is available to work weekends.
Compensation for transportation will be provided.
Job Requirements:
- Applicant must be a US Citizen (Required by some job sites).
- Able to pass a level 2 background check.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Available to work weekends.
- Must have at least 3 years minimum experience in a supervisory position, preferably with groups.
- Prior knowledge of floor tech responsibilities is a PLUS.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must have Computer skills such as excel, word, and Email (Microsoft Office).
- Must have written and oral communication skills.
Area Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing multiple job sites.
- Activity Planning and Sequencing.
- Resource Planning.
- Perform janitorial duties if needed.
- Maintain communication with site administration to fulfill any requests.
- Are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
- To effectively plan, & coordinate any follow-up as well as floor care work.
- To ensure work shifts are properly scheduled to cover all aspects of the specification as per contract.
- Ensure Team Members have adequate resources to maintain standards on-site as per site specification.
- To carry out regular monthly performance & inspection reviews with team members, within their area of responsibility.
- To supervise the staff members and ensure that all goals are being met.
- Following all policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements.
- To provide leadership, support, coordination, and guidance to ensure that quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
- Responsible for coordinating and insuring the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work is done.
- Secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order.
- Makes sure the facility has sufficient janitorial supplies at all times.
- Training new hires, handling quality control and in-servicing staff is an essential part of the supervisor's responsibility and includes touring the building several times per day to assess work quality using current software for documentation purposes.
- Ability to understand and place into action basic infection control procedures for safety.
- Ability to handle mixing of chemicals while being safe with the proper tools.
- Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
