Maintenance Supervisor

Core hours are Monday - Friday from during the day however, candidates should be flexible to work during off shifts (B and C shifts), when needed (at times a week or more).

Job Duties:

• Ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner as per schedules, documented on the PM check-sheets and maintained in the computer system.
• Ensure all machine and building maintenance issues for all GFX facilities are coordinated and given prompt attention.
• All Safety Issues that arise due to Machine and Building maintenance are all immediately attended to.
• Inform the respective Plant Manger and Maintenance Manager of all parts requirements in regards to preventative maintenance.
• Maintain job tracking system in computer system for all department work performed.
• Maintain inventory on maintenance items in computer system and issue inventory to proper jobs as per job tracking system.
• Assign required work to be performed to Maintenance personnel. Oversee their work activities to ensure it is being performed to meet all safety and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be willing to travel to support multiple facilities, as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, required. Post secondary education or maintenance related certifications, would be an asset.
• Certification as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic a must or equivalent work experience, Electrical and hydraulic systems a plus
• Minimum 5-7 Years experience of maintenance experience
• Leadership experience is a must
• Computer skills that included MS Office and various maintenance related software
• Must have strong mechanical background and blueprint reading knowledge
• Excellent communication, organization, problem solving / troubleshooting skills, in addition to, excellent attendance history

The following working conditions are present or expected on a daily basis:

• Manufacturing/production floor environment, leadership and administrative assignments.
• Continuous exposure to industrial manufacturing, automotive vehicles, weather elements, chemicals and robotics.
• Must comply with all Company policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the production floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
