As we grow, we're looking for a Marketing Manager to help shape and execute our marketing strategy, ensuring we reach the right people, tell compelling stories, and build a brand that resonates.
About the Role
As our Marketing Manager , you'll be responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and growth across multiple channels. You'll lead everything from brand storytelling and content marketing to paid acquisition and community engagement , making sure Groundfloor continues to attract and retain the right members. This is a generalist marketing role -perfect for someone who thrives on variety, is both creative and analytical, and enjoys building a brand from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute a brand marketing strategy that strengthens Groundfloor's identity and drives engagement.
- Create and oversee a content calendar , ensuring consistent messaging across email, social media, and other platforms.
- Craft compelling storytelling and campaigns that communicate the value of Groundfloor to potential and existing members.
Growth & Acquisition
Lead multi-channel marketing efforts , including email, paid social, website, and partnerships to drive new memberships.Identify and test new growth opportunities , optimizing for conversion and retention.Manage and track marketing budgets , ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI.Community & Member Engagement
Build and execute retention and loyalty initiatives , ensuring members stay engaged and active.Lead email & SMS marketing efforts, keeping members informed and excited about what's happening at Groundfloor.Support local marketing efforts for new locations , ensuring strong brand presence in key markets.Performance & Optimization
Track and analyze marketing metrics to understand what's working and where to improve.Optimize marketing campaigns through A / B testing, audience segmentation, and creative iteration .Own reporting on key marketing KPIs , making data-driven decisions to improve strategy.Who You Are
Experienced Marketer : 3-5 years in a marketing role, ideally in brand, growth, or community-driven businesses.Creative & Strategic : You can tell compelling brand stories while also thinking about data and performance.Multi-Channel Generalist : You're comfortable working across email, paid social, content, and community marketing .Data-Driven : You love tracking results and making decisions based on insights.Community-Oriented : You understand what makes people connect and how to build authentic engagement.Self-Starter : You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership and executing efficiently.Nice to Have
Experience with membership-based or subscription businesses .Background in hospitality, lifestyle, or community-driven brands .Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo / Mailchimp, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or Attentive .
