Job Description
Ground Force Inc., the longest tenured FedEx Contractor operating out of our Burlington, WA station is looking for qualified individuals to fill Full-Time and Part-Time driving positions. We operate in the Burlington/Mount Vernon area. This makes for shorter days as there are no miles driven to the delivery area. Starting pay depends on experience and will start at $22-$25 per hour. Experience is required for this position. Please see below for experience requirements!
We provide any and all necessary training and certification which will consist of classroom and behind the wheel sessions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! A minimum of ONE year driving experience is REQUIRED. Any type of verifiable business or commercial driving is usually acceptable. That would include food delivery (Pizza, Door Dash, Grubhub), rideshare (Uber, Lyft), courier services (UPS, USPS, Amazon, DHL, Etc.) A CDL is NOT required. Fork lift or heavy equipment operation does not qualify.
Experience in a large Step Van is a plus!
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must speak English
- Authorized to work in the US
- Clean driving record a must (3rd party vendor will pull your MVR)
- Clean criminal background (3rd party vendor will pull your criminal background)
- Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Must pass random drug testing during employment
- Must pass DOT Physical
- Must pass Road Test
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions
- Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day
- Proper usage of hand held device to record all activity for the day
- Maintain security of all packages assigned for the day
- Ability to lift or manipulate 150 lb. packages with a hand truck.
- Daily Pre and Post trip vehicle inspections
- Completion of assigned monthly online safety training modules.
