Ground Logistics is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet of light and medium duty trucks in Delaware and Maryland. We are contractor for FedEx with over 100 step vans, box trucks, and vans operating in Delaware and Maryland. As Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal interruptions.
Home Base Location: New Castle DE
Starting Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Flexible, availability in mornings and/or evenings necessary, availability on weekends a plus.
Job Information:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, like replacement of lights, locks, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections of all vehicles
- Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix vehicle problems
Requirements:
- Proficiency in light and medium duty truck maintenance and repair
- Experience with various tools used in automotive repair
- Solid mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues efficiently
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
