We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer with vertical build experience to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vertical construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of vertical build projects.
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Review and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and maintain quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Support budget tracking, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project engineering, specifically in vertical builds.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
