Ground Up Construction Recruiting is partnered with a local general contractor in Omaha on their search for a Superintendent.

There's no traveling involved as all their projects are in the Omaha metro. They range from $250k-$36M, with the average size being $5M. Ground up and renovations are split about 50/50. Multi-family, office, retail, healthcare, industrial, and hospitality are the sectors they're focused on. The don't currently self-perform anything but it's in their 5-year plan.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary up to $135k
- 10-15% bonus based on self-performance

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the company’s safety culture and create awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
- Provide management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
- Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop work plans for subcontractors.
- Lead various meetings including daily and weekly trade meetings.
- Create, manage, change, and implement the project’s schedule as needed, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Communicate key project information to owners, design team, governing authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and other departments.
- Follow the project filing and documentation organization system as dictated for the project. Update drawings, logs, diaries, and inspection notebooks.
- Approve and/or record unit cost information for weekly reports and complete daily reports, logs and tracking reports.
- Manage material and equipment needs for the project.
- Support the project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating activities with the owner, architect, and governing authorities.
- Participate with the field operations leadership and the project team to put together a project pre plan.
- Partner with project management to identify schedule and costs associated with project changes.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
