Duties / Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed site evaluations and provide accurate cost estimates for landscaping and hardscaping projects.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to calculate material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to develop project bids and proposals.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of estimates to clients.
- Maintain and manage an organized database of estimates and client communications.
- Track project costs and compare actual expenses with estimates to ensure budget adherence.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and methods to offer the most competitive estimates.
Qualifications / Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in landscaping or hardscaping is required.
- Experience with commercial and residential landscape projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of landscape/hardscape construction processes, material costs, and methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Estimating software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter who can work independently with integrity.
- A valid driver’s license with minimal points or incidents in the last three years required.
