Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is looking for a Landscape Projects Foreman to join our growing team. As the Landscape Projects Foreman, one will be responsible for, overseeing a crew of workers performing landscaping services and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Pay Range: $22.00 - $32.00 an hour (contingent on experience)

*REQUIRED* Valid Driver’s license with minimal incidents or points in the last 3 years

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee a crew size or 3-5 members

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 3 years of relevant landscaping experience required
• Has an advanced knowledge of plants, horticulture pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up
• Reading blueprints, building flower beds, installing plants, lawns, trees, boulders, and installing mulch in flower beds.
• Proficiently operate a variety of landscaping and construction equipment
• Communicate with clients when necessary and address customer concerns
• Effectively communicates client needs to the Account Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, work site and maintains equipment
• Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard.
• On-Call for snow removal during winter hours
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Educations and Experience:

• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Able to work successfully with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
• Able to stand for long periods of time
