We are seeking a Residential Construction Superintendent to join our growing team and oversee the successful execution of custom home projects from start to finish.
Job Summary:
The Residential Construction Superintendent will manage day-to-day construction site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate subcontractors, manage timelines, and maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for custom home projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to ensure smooth project flow.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the project management team to review schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on progress, timelines, and any necessary adjustments.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, making real-time decisions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Diamond Property Group’s quality standards before handoff to clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in residential homebuilding.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Licenses/Certifications: OSHA certification and knowledge of ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential building codes, construction practices, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficient in project scheduling software and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
