Landscape Crew Foreman

Groundhog Landscaping, located in Derry, NH, is seeking a dedicated full-time Landscape Crew Foreman to join our team. If you're looking for a leadership role in landscaping where you can make a difference every day, we'd love to have you on our team.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

This full-time Landscape Crew Foreman position offers a pay range of $22 - $24/hour, based on experience, and includes a guaranteed salary during winter months for qualified candidates.

All that you need is:

• Ability to manage crews and perform a variety of landscaping tasks
• Proficiency in operating skid steers, mini excavators, mowers, chainsaws, sod cutters, and other landscaping tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays during peak seasons
• Commitment to following all safety protocols on the job site

HOW DO WE CARE FOR OUR TEAM?

As a Landscape Crew Foreman, your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, with an estimated workday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Start and end times may vary depending on weather and specific job tasks. During peak seasons, occasional Saturday work may be required to meet project deadlines.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR LANDSCAPE CREW FOREMAN?

You will oversee a 2 - 3 person crew, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will begin each day by organizing your team and preparing for assigned tasks. Throughout the day, you will lead your crew in a variety of landscaping activities, including planting installations, lawn installations, small hardscape projects, and general maintenance. Operating equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and zero-turn mowers will be part of your routine. You will also maintain clear and professional communication with customers and work closely with your crew and other employees to ensure projects are completed on time. At the end of each day, you'll turn in all required paperwork to your supervisor.
