Pay:
GroundsPRO offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 hourly, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Role Overview:
As the Irrigation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and implementation of all components of the irrigation system, including mechanical and electrical systems. Additional responsibilities include overseeing repairs, preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory and records for all equipment associated with irrigation. The position ensures the performance of GroundsPRO quality standards and the management of all resources to achieve confidence and exceptional service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including timers, valves, and sprinklers.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify and repair problems, such as leaks or damaged parts.
• Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather and seasonality.
• Advise clients on water conservation and efficient irrigation practices.
• Ensure compliance with local water regulations..
• Provide customer service, addressing client concerns, and answering queries.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Irrigation in installation, inspection, and repair.
• Experience reading and writing work orders and/or service records.
• Self-motivated, reliable, hardworking, and a team player.
• Demonstrated customer service and effective communication with clients.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and great organizational skills.
• Ability to stand regularly; occasionally sit, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Compliance with all applicable Federal and State mandated labor laws.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
