Summary
The Landscape Account Manager position in Florence, KY ensures the performance of GroundsPRO Quality Standards and the management of all resources to achieve confidence and exceptional service for their clients. The ideal candidate will exceed customer expectations with effective management of the financial resources appropriated to them, strong computer aptitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, error and accident-free environment. Account Managers must gain knowledge of the requirements of each position in landscape maintenance and snow management.
Priorities
Develop and Maintain a Strong Team
- Evaluate team strengths and limitations, augment as appropriate
- Foster a cohesive environment with Production Manager staff to ensure quick response to client expectations and quality production
- Support timely and accurate implementation of procedures and paperwork
GroundsPRO Customer Service Standards
- Establish role as client's primary, responsible, point-of-contact
- Instill Customer Confidence
- Foster the performance of Exceptional Service among team members
- Provide assurance that contract obligations, quality standards, and expectations are fulfilled
- Provide support to team members in performing and completing all client projects – we are the experts, and they are seeking our advice
GroundsPRO Quality Standards
- Ensure GroundsPRO Quality Standards are met by all team members for all clients
- Accountable for profitability by diligent monitoring and analysis of estimating
- Assists with the development and implementation of long-term enhancement objectives of sites in the designated market area
- Manages direct cost of sites in the designated market area, meeting budget goals and business objectives
- Liaison between field operations and the contractual obligations of the clients
Summary of Specific Responsibilities
Management of Accounts on Snow Removal and Maintenance
- Maintains standards and ensures quality
- Implement procedures and processes, and coordinate routine and long-term tasks and schedules
- Maintain relationship with the client as primary contact for all maintenance and enhancement activities
- Renewal of assigned accounts at 93% or better
Site Enhancement Estimating/Sales
- Initiate enhancements in coordination with long-term objectives
- Collect necessary data for proposals to provide accurate designs and pricing
- Annual goal to achieve a minimum of 35% of the book of business
- Perform regular site inspections utilizing landscape management software
New Business
- Responsible for adding new business through add-on and referral business ($50,000 annually)
- Ensure contract compliance
Personnel
- Represent company in professional groups/associations
- Maintain active contact with people and trends in the industry that affect operations
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- 4 years of experience in landscape maintenance preferred
- Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email
- Strong communication skills – English verbal, written, and reading comprehension
- Ability to develop strong client and employee relationships
- Hands-on approach to task management, employee, and customer interaction
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to meet critical deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Responsive to client's needs and requests – build customer rapport
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Proven leadership abilities with an organized and structured approach to crew supervision
- Responsive with a positive attitude and initiative, team-oriented, and strong role model
Preferred:
- BS Degree (or equivalent)
- Certifications in Landscape Maintenance and Irrigation
- Bi-lingual Spanish
