We are currently hiring for an experienced General Manager for our New Boutique French Brasserie, The Franklin in Bristol, RI. This is a high end boutique restaurant with 46 seats and full liquor. Candidates must have experience managing fine dining restaurant concepts and experience managing a bar program. Amazing opportunity with a great company for an amazing general manager. Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that all aspects of food service management are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong leader with a background in the food industry, capable of managing teams, developing training programs, and maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. The General Manager will also be involved in budgeting and inventory control to optimize profitability while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Duties
- Oversee all operations within the establishment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in food production, catering, and customer service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards and innovate menu offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste.
- Prepare and manage budgets, analyzing financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.
- Coordinate catering events and ensure seamless execution from planning through delivery.
