This is a high end boutique restaurant with 46 seats with full liquor license. Candidates must have experience managing fine dining restaurant concepts and experience managing a bar program. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, ensuring timely service and presentation of beverages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system, processing payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, particularly in nightclub settings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktails, and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Experience in catering services and banquet operations is a plus.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Familiarity with nightclub environments and the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions.
- Background in the food industry or food service is highly desirable.
