What You'll do:
We are looking for an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler to develop, manage, and maintain complex program schedules for large projects. The role includes tracking tasks, milestones, and deliverables, identifying critical paths, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) of program areas, projects, tasks, and activities:
- Prepare project baseline plans and update project progress
- Enter and track activities, tasks, assignments, milestones, and estimates for performance of the tasks
- Maintain and apply work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Monitor, track, identify trends, predict and report project status
- Identify and track all dependencies and critical path
- Track contract deliverables in accordance with the contract deliverables schedule
- Enter and track all items that require government decision or action including Gate reviews in IMS
- Meet with the project team weekly, at minimum, to update and maintain the schedule
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that the project schedule is aligned with the project and that any changes to the schedule from the baseline follows the Change Management process.
- Review, coordinate and deconflict any subordinate schedules.
- Provide expertise and analysis to identify and promptly report schedule issues to leadership.
- Provide the schedule inputs to Weekly, Monthly (IPR) and Quarterly Program (PMR) Status Reports, including status of all activities/requirements by program/project/task with corresponding dates. Provide status on:
- Critical Path and potential impact to the overall schedule
- Dependencies and analysis of potential downstream impact due to a late task
- Deliverables due during the reporting period
- Technical progress to date against milestones
- Planned and unplanned work accomplished
- Provide forecast of planned work and planned deliverables for the upcoming month
- Develop and maintain SOPs for the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Ensure that all project schedule documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with the customer’s quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders to ensure that the project schedule is integrated with other project plans and schedules, including complex updates from subcontractors and vendors.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members on schedule development, tracking, and reporting.
- Any other tasks as required by the management team.
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years’ experience developing and maintaining complex master integrated schedules for large programs
- Expertise with scheduling tools Microsoft Project
- Exemplary communication and analytical skills
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required for clearance purposes)
- May require traveling to Mclean, VA or Washington, DC project locations as needed by the project.
- Preference given to candidates with Workday implementation experience
- Preference given to candidates with Intel Community or DoD experience
