Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. This is a remote position that reports to the Billing Manager.

Position Expectations:
- Process Prebills through Final Invoices.
- Maintain clear and positive communication.
- Prepares monthly client invoices according to contractual guideline and GES’ standards from Prebill generation, edits, verifying accuracy, processing write-downs and transfers through Final Invoice processing meeting client requirements.
- Ensures clients are accurately billed for subcontracted costs, consultant Time and expenses.
- Maintain invoicing files electronically via PDF.
- Reviews invoice for applicable sales and use tax.
- Takes initiative, researches/resolves problems and provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Processes EDI invoicing function for one of the top clients.
- Supports the Billing Manager introducing and executing new programs, procedures or policies in a positive, can-do manner.
- Assist with current billing process and structure of the department to ensure that client invoices will be processed and bill closed within 13 days.
- Assist in streamlining billing processes and information flows while improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
- Cross train when required (within billing and other departments).
- Maintain and update Billing Matrix with client invoicing requirements.
- Focus on unbilled charges and any effort that is held needs to be validated with
- OPS/PM.
- Maintain and update eBilling Billing Reviewer Manual.
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Strong computer skills
- Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with BST Software is a plus
