Job Title: Principal Environmental Project Manager
This role is a local office-based position located in New Hudson, Michigan. The selected candidate will be integrated into our team and work closely with established local teams and operations leaders in MI, IL, IN, and OH, as well as the greater Great Lakes Region service area.

Role Overview
This position requires a B.S. degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 15 years' experience in scoping, costing, and execution of small and large-scale site investigation and remediation, environmental compliance, and/or construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee diverse project growth efforts focused on oil and gas pipelines, electrical transmission lines, renewables, permitting services, site characterization and remediation, PFAS and Emerging Contaminant Consulting, Ecological services, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, supervise, and document field aspects of highly complex environmental remediation and construction activities.
- Manage project/site assigned staff under limited supervision.
- Support client retainage and development, including preparation and presentation of technical information to support existing and new project pursuits.
- Mentor and develop both professional and technical staff.
- Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in scoping, costing, and execution of small and large-scale site investigation, remediation, and/or construction projects.
- Mastery knowledge of applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to all field activities and relevant regulatory programs in Michigan.
- Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license is a plus.
