What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Therapist position at Groundwork Counseling and Coaching?
We are looking for a licensed therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The therapist will provide therapy services to clients both virtually and in-person (if local), manage their own client appointments, complete session notes and paperwork, and contribute to the growth of our practice. This position offers flexibility with hours and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual therapy sessions both virtually and in-person (if local).
• Set up and manage client appointments through our scheduling system.
• Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Complete session notes, treatment updates, and other necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more.
• Provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their mental health.
• Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards.
• Participate in occasional team meetings and supervision as needed.
Qualifications:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in [State] (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience providing telehealth services is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage a caseload and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule.
