What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at Groundworks Operations, LLC?
Groundworks is seeking a talented Fabricator to join our tribe in Columbia, SC!
In this role, you will fabricate tools, fixtures, and components from raw materials with little to no outside help or oversight. You will operate lathes and other metal turning/drilling/milling equipment safely and efficiently. You will be a key player in both production and innovation as we improve efficiency and expand our business.
Our ideal candidate will have many years of experience welding (MIG & TIG), finishing, fabricating, and machining, as well as be proficient in a wide variety of tools to make just about anything out of aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Qualifications
8-10 years' experience with MIG & TIG welding with expert finishing skills
Machining experience, especially Mill and/or Lathe (CNC or manual)
Proficient in working with aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel
Previous experience working in warehousing and/or fleet management environment(s)
