Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawn Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, tree care, and lawn care. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team
- Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, bed maintenance
- Oversee landscape maintenance and including planting
- Coordinate tree care activities, including pruning and removal
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Train and mentor new members of the maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, including knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and lawn care techniques
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Knowledge of tree care practices and techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
