Overview
Beck & Masten North is searching for a Used Car Buyer who has a passion for the used car business, specifically purchasing and sourcing preowned inventory. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, experienced, knowledgeable, and hard working.
Job Responsibilities:
- Appraise/Value vehicles and attend online and live auction sales sites.
- Research potential sources to acquire used cars including customer direct
- Ensure inventory matches company needs and buy list
- Follow up with auctions, transport to track our incoming vehicles, and work arbitrations
- Develop accurate knowledge of the used car markets in the region, and relationships with our managers
Requirements:
- 3 Years minimum proven track record of successful used vehicle purchasing or used car management.
- 3 Years experience of online auction purchasing required
- Be familiar with the auctions and all processes involved in used car purchasing
- Maintain awareness of models and trims in most volume brands
- Detail-oriented - quality and precision focused.
- Team-oriented - cooperative and collaborative.
- Available to work weekends when needed and remotely as needed
