Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure-focused)
We are seeking a forward-thinking Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong focus on Azure to spearhead the design and deployment of our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cloud strategy with a primary focus on Azure, while integrating GCP and/or AWS solutions where advantageous.
- Design and oversee the deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures, primarily utilizing Azure, and ensuring seamless integration with GCP and/or AWS when necessary.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions, making strategic use of Azure services to achieve business goals.
- Direct the migration of existing applications to Azure, coordinating with other cloud platforms as needed for an optimized multi-cloud environment.
- Advocate for and ensure the implementation of Azure security best practices, achieving compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Mentor team members on Azure technologies and best practices, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Keep abreast of new developments in cloud technologies, particularly within Azure, and evaluate their potential impact on our strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong emphasis on Azure. Experience with GCP and/or AWS is highly desirable.
- Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar Azure-specific certification.
- Demonstrated experience in migrating applications to Azure and integrating Azure with other cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
- Proficiency in cloud security measures, particularly within Azure environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Over and Above: Experience with implementing serverless and container-based architectures in Azure. Knowledge of DevOps practices and integration within Azure environments. Familiarity with AI/ML implementations in Azure.
Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $190,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
