JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers. This role involves conducting financial analysis, assessing risk, and providing recommendations for credit decisions to ensure the company minimizes financial exposure while supporting business growth. The Credit Analyst will collaborate with the Credit Manager and other departments to ensure timely and accurate credit assessments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Evaluation : Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the credit risk of potential and existing customers.
Credit Recommendations : Provide detailed recommendations regarding credit limits, terms, and approval decisions based on risk analysis and financial reviews.
Risk Assessment : Monitor and evaluate customer payment behavior and account activity to identify potential risks. Work with the Credit Manager to adjust credit terms and limits as needed.
Reporting and Analysis : Prepare regular reports on credit risk, accounts receivable, and customer credit statuses for management review.
Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure that credit decisions are aligned with the company’s business goals and customer relationship strategies.
Customer Interaction : Communicate with customers to resolve any credit-related inquiries, disputes, or concerns while maintaining a positive working relationship.
Policy Adherence : Ensure that credit policies and procedures are followed, and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in credit analysis, finance, or accounting, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a related role.
Strong understanding of credit risk analysis, financial statements, and credit scoring methods.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial modeling techniques.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and experience with credit management software.
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and credit report platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make recommendations based on that analysis.
A solid understanding of credit policies, risk management, and industry regulations.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or accounting, preferably within the electrical equipment, manufacturing, or a related industry.
Certification in credit analysis or finance (e.g., CFA, Credit Analyst Certification) is a plus but not required .

WORK SCHEDULE
Hours are 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. You are required to be at your workstation from the start of your shift to the completion of your shift Monday thr ough Friday.
