Job Summary
Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to manage equipment data, estimate cable lengths, and document fieldwork. Must have strong communication skills, be proficient in MS Office, and be able to travel up to 80%. A relevant degree or significant experience and technical certifications are preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical equipment data gathering for engineering projects
Includes opening equipment and evaluating internal electrical components
Estimating cable / conductor lengths
Downloading relay settings
Taking and documenting numerous field notes
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic oral and written skills
Technical communication background
Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2-year electrical engineering technician (or related) degree OR Master Electrician License OR 5 years job related experience
CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed electrician (Preferred)
Infrared thermography (Preferred)
Other related job related certifications (Preferred)
TRAVEL REQUIEREMENTS
Depending on projects, travel could be up to 80%
