What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support (Processor / Driver) position at Group CBS?
JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 7 : 30am – 4 : 30pm (Candidate must be available for minimum of 40 hours per week)
Rate : $15-17 an hour (depending on experience)
To review, coordinate and expedite electrical and mechanical parts within the standard flow of production while maintaining quality and on time delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process electrical and mechanical parts for life extension of circuit breakers and contactors, keeping the warehouse area clean and in order.
Documenting anything that comes / goes through the warehouse.
Drive as needed (pickup / deliver) from Texas to Alabama as needed.
Expedite and communicate appropriately when expected delivery dates are missed on the following production statuses :
Awaiting Assignment / Dispatched to Technician / Being Repaired
Awaiting Parts / Parts Research / Parts Ordered
QA Further Evaluation / BER Evaluation
Assist in data research and fact-finding as required to meet technician monthly performance review, and metric schedule requirements.
Assist Team Leaders / Technicians with inventory management to and from production processes.
Will be trained on powder coating and silver plating.
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.
Occasionally, days can extend beyond the primary job hours, up to 12 hours in a day.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational and management skills are required.
General knowledge of Windows based software such as : Microsoft Word. Excel and Outlook are beneficial but not essential.
Must be a team player with focus on department growth and process improvement.
Must work well in a team environment with constant interaction amongst the staff.

Familiar with operating Forklift Trucks, and loading / unloading equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasional sitting, reaching / working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Frequent walking
Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds
Driving for periods of time
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not essential
Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus
Clean driving record, full driver’s license, and personal dependable transportation to and from work required
