What are the responsibilities and job description for the Timekeeper position at GROUP Contractors?
General Description:
- Input time into timekeeping systems (Traqspera, Trac)
- Track Financials to assist the Project Manager
- Prepare reports as requested to assist the overall projects Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Essential Functions:
- Keep track of employees time on the project
- Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
- Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
- Evaluate activity sequences for constructability.
- Make recommendations to manage and achieve project milestone dates and target completion dates. Assist with inputing change orders.

Work Environment:
The environment for this job varies – 90% of the job will be in a typical, professional office environment. 10% of the role consists of visiting jobsites.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time, hourly position. Occasional evening/weekend work or travel may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience:
- Advanced MS Office Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to use math/complete calculations
- Must have knowledge of Trac
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects Good communication & documentation of work products are essential.
Industry Related Requirements:
- Must hold a valid TWIC Card
- Must hold a valid OSHA Basic Plus
- Must be able to pass all Safety Council related courses Must undergo Pre-Employment Screening (physical, drug & alcohol screen, audiogram, fit test if applicable)
