What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at Group Dental?
We are seeking a personable and skilled dentist with 2 years experience to join the team at our well-respected, and highly reviewed private multi-specialty practice. The position is for 3-5 days a week, with flexible scheduling and a secure opportunity for growth. This position can be full time or part time for the right candidate.
Unlike some traditional associate positions, here you will have clinical autonomy to work independently with patients, and provide a full range of care from treatment planning through completion.
Our modern and well-equipped digital dental office is just north of Boston and has easy access to major highways. We are primarily a fee for service practice with limited insurance and PPO participation.
Working independently and directing your clinical staff, you will be treating new and existing patients of the practice. We have a strong clinical and front office support team that keeps the schedule running smoothly. You will feel at home in the practice as the staff supports your daily schedule and workflow.
Collaborating with our team, you will be able to offer patients comprehensive restorative and cosmetic options, including implant placement and restorations, multi-unit crowns and veneers, implant retained and removal prosthodontics, and orthodontics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for existing, and new patients of the practice
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral health practices
- Work with our friendly and talented dental staff to ensure efficient office operations and patient satisfaction
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Massachusetts dental license.
- Min of 2 years private practice or similar working experience.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care treatment planning, and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary : $225,000 - $365,000
