What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epic Application Analyst - Tapestry position at Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin?
We are looking for a resourceful, passionate analyst to help support Epic Tapestry as well as interfaces, EDI transactions and other data exchanges to and from Epic for assigned applications. You will work with other Application Analysts and an array of business owners to provide issue resolution as well as enhancement opportunities.
The Application Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the discovery, design, configuration, and maintenance of the Tapestry application. You will be responsible for observing and translating operational requirements into Epic system build and configuration through collaboration with other Application Analysts.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and strong instincts for problem-solving, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. You should also be willing to independently research technology outside of your current skill set and comfort zone. Knowing the answer is great, being able to find the answer is better.
Responsibilities
Provide end user support
Execute requested system build
Troubleshoot issues and questions using analytical and problem solving techniques
Collaborate with staff to ensure that the Epic applications supports business needs
Analyze current workflows of end users to ensure optimal use of the Epic system
Support interfaces, EDI transactions, and other data exchanges to and from Epic
Requirements
Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
In depth knowledge or ability to learn Epic systems
Effective planning, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work in a consultative approach with users in assessing needs and requirements
Capacity to manage multiple priorities and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
Desired
Strong Tapestry and EDI experience
Experience in the Health Care or Health Insurance industry
Familiarity with project planning and project management
Experience giving presentations to management and staff
