About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced digital marketing strategist with deep expertise in Google Analytics, Google Shopping, Google Tag Manager, Bing, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and performance marketing .

As Digital Marketing Manager , you will be responsible for revamping and optimizing all aspects of our digital marketing, leading high-performance campaigns, and ensuring SWISSGEAR continues to grow its online presence and revenue.

You will work closely with our Creative, eCommerce, and Agency teams to execute high-impact marketing strategies across Paid Media, Social Media, Email & SMS, Promotions, SEO, and Influencer Engagement .

This position reports to the Director of eCommerce and currently oversees two direct reports —the Social Media Coordinator and Brand Partnerships Coordinator —with the potential to expand the team by adding 1-2 additional roles . It requires a strategic leader with strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, and a hands-on approach to digital marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, full-funnel digital marketing strategy across all channels, with a focus on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Overhaul and optimize Swissgear.com marketing programs , ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey.
  • Lead and manage brand-building initiatives , positioning SWISSGEAR the leader in travel gear through digital-first campaigns.
  • Own the marketing calendar , ensuring all promotions, launches, and campaigns align with company goals.

Performance Marketing & Paid Media

  • Manage and optimize all Paid Media campaigns across Google Ads, Google Shopping, Bing, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and Programmatic Advertising .
  • Own SEM & SEO strategy , working cross-functionally to improve search visibility, organic traffic, and paid efficiency.
  • Develop and execute Affiliate Marketing, Retargeting, and Loyalty / Rewards Programs to maximize conversions and customer lifetime value.
  • Leverage A / B testing and AI-driven marketing tools to improve performance across all channels.
  • Define and track CPA, CPC, ROAS, LTV, and Conversion Rates , ensuring all marketing initiatives meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Data-Driven Optimization & Reporting

  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics , making data-driven recommendations to optimize spend and maximize ROI.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new opportunities in AI-driven marketing, personalization, and automation .
  • Conduct A / B and multivariate testing to optimize creatives, targeting, and channel performance.
  • Social Media & Influencer Marketing

  • Develop and execute a high-impact social media strategy to drive engagement, awareness, and conversions.
  • Build and manage a network of influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand reach and credibility.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of high-quality social media content in collaboration with the Creative Team.
  • Email, SMS & Customer Retention

  • Overhaul and optimize our Email & SMS marketing strategy using Klaviyo and Attentive to drive engagement and retention.
  • Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Develop a loyalty and rewards program to increase repeat purchases and customer retention.
  • Creative & Content Strategy

  • Partner with the Creative Director to develop best-in-class creative assets for ads, emails, and social media.
  • Coordinate photoshoots, video production, and content creation , ensuring high-quality visuals align with brand standards.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints , from advertising to website experience.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team , fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.
  • Manage and optimize agency relationships, with a long-term plan to bring key marketing functions in-house.
  • Collaborate closely with eCommerce, Product, and Sales teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • About You

  • Proven track record of successfully leading digital marketing strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or retail , preferably with a consumer goods brand.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Tag Manager, Bing, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube, Programmatic, SEO, and Retargeting Strategies .
  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics and Power BI to track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong analytical mindset—able to interpret data, extract insights, and drive data-backed marketing decisions .
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV) growth strategies .
  • Strong leadership skills—able to build and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media budgets, optimizing ROAS, and scaling digital campaigns.
  • Experience working with Klaviyo, Attentive, and other email / SMS marketing platforms .
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
