Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Accounting Manager to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8 AM – 4:30 PM
- In office
The right candidate will have:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- At least 5 years of previous experience working in the same or similar role
- Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English
- Spanish proficiency preferred but not required
- Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations
Our Accounting Manager will:
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage financial reporting, audits, and tax filings to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Develop and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow management strategies
- Provide strategic guidance to support business objectives
- Supervise and support the accounting team in day- to- day operations
- Foster a collaborative environment, provide training, and ensure professional development opportunities
- Implement and enhance financial procedures and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy
- Streamline month-end and year- end close processes
- Conduct financial analysis, interpret data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision making
