Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Production Supervisor to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. Production Associates are responsible for performing manufacturing tasks to build prefabricated component and module assemblies on the production line.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English.
- Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations.
- Attention to Detail – Actively demonstrates excellent attention to detail. Identify errors.
- Communication – The ability to inform orally and in writing, with clarity and good effect. Understand clearly and quickly when instructions or orders are received. Knows their audience and can adjust to each setting to effectively relay the message.
- Problem Solving – Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

Our Production Supervisor will:
- Assist in planning and organizing daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to meet established production targets.
- Supervise and support production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining productivity.
- Help develop and manage production schedules to optimize workflow, reduce downtime, and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust production processes to optimize workflow, minimize waste, and improve overall production performance.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and supporting safety meetings and inspections.
- Coordinate with logistics, quality control, and other departments to align production goals and meet operational targets.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of production reports to upper management, analyzing performance and suggesting improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, product quality, and overall manufacturing processes.
- Help manage production inventory, ensuring materials and resources are available to meet production needs without delays.
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, and crawling for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Must have the manual dexterity and endurance to perform repetitive tasks and operate hand tools for an extended period.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to high, and safety gear may be required.
