Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all accounting entries
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Lead and mentor accounting staff to higher levels of performance instilling a continuous improvement mindset within the team
- Lead and support financial planning process
- Analyze and provide communication to management regarding variances to forecast and plan
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions and drive implementation of process improvements
- Assist the Controller in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Full-time onsite availability required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- D365 Finance and Operations experience a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
