Group O is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help facilitate a variety of packing and kitting activities within our warehouse.
As a Warehouse Associate at Group O, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of packaging and kitting operations, while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. This role requires diligence, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouses. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures. Ensure orders are accurate and complete, and that packaging meets quality standards.
- Responsible for kit setup and build.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, placement, and rotation of stock. Assist with restocking shelves and picking items for outgoing orders. Responsible for incoming and outgoing inventory quality and counts.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Identify and report potential safety hazards or concerns. Participate in regular safety training sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including aisles, storage areas, and workstations. Follow proper waste disposal procedures and assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to accomplish daily tasks and goals. Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and vendors.
- Operate a fork truck to load and unload materials from incoming vehicles or bulks and bays and stack them in designated areas.
Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- High School diploma or GED
Experience:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar role preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Fork truck experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Additional clerical duties by apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Must maintain a fork truck certification
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to fifty pounds safely.
- Ability to bend, stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
