With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
- Fitting and repairing various appliances
- Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Preparing cost/material estimates
- Availability to respond to emergency calls
- Interact with other trades
Requirements
- New Jersey State Plumbing license
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- A solid understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding pipe layouts
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Stay informed about industry safety standards and practices
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
Physical Requirements
- Relatively flexible for working underground or in tricky spaces
- Precise hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted
