Omni-Serv partners with the passenger airlines industry and carrier services to perform various aviation roles. We are searching for a Full-Time Escort Supervisor for to aid in support at John F. Kennedy International Airport. A candidate who can maintain a professional demeanor, is a team player, and has a positive and “can do” attitude.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will oversee and support our Escort Operation. Assist in managing a team of personnel responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals and assets during transit. Collaborate closely with Management to coordinate operations, ensure adherence to protocols, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the escort team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration
- Respond promptly to urgent support needs, showcasing prioritization skills and swift action
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols in all operations including commercial construction
- Coordinate and supervise escort services, including risk assessments and emergency response
- Responsible for escorting all non-cleared visitors, personnel, janitorial/maintenance crews, and/or contractors performing work in secure areas of the airport as directed by the supervisor to ensure that secure areas remain uncompromised
- Collaborate closely with the service division to ensure seamless integration of support services
Requirements
- Active Guard Card (New York State Security Guard License)
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the related field
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- OSHA 10 certification not required but preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working in inclement weather
- The ability to stand or walk for prolong periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
