G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an HVAC Technician to our dynamic team.
Scope of Work:
In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with installing, maintaining, and repairing HVACR systems in a Commercial/Facility Setting in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with install, maintain, and repair HVACR systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVACR systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of HVACR systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiency
- Test HVACR systems for proper functioning and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVACR work, including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials
- Document all work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding HVACR system upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to improve efficiency and performance
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year HVAC experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in HVACR systems or technologies (e.g., NATE certification).
- Experience working in commercial and/or industrial HVACR settings.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to HVACR systems and refrigerants. (R-22, R-410A, R-134A)
Shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, 10:00pm – 6:30am
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k.
Salary : $21 - $25
