We provide facility and preventative maintenance services to aviation, government, and commercial facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an LEAD Maintenance Technician to our dynamic team.
Scope of Work
As a member of the facility maintenance team, you will utilize your skills to help support the repair and general upkeep of varies pieces of equipment throughout the operation. The successful candidate will carry out preventative, repair, and corrective maintenance on caster decks, conveyor, and other electrical automated systems. You must be well versed in electrical relay and motor mechanics and have an in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of conveyor systems, electrical controls, electromechanical devices.
Compensation: $35.00-$45.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, SICK ATR systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC and conveyor systems in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings and operational manuals
- Install and Maintain photo sensors, PLC and SCADA Programming and other electrical systems
- Partner with other controls technicians to resolve equipment problems that create performance deficiencies
- Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedy and resolution as well as continuous monitoring for ways for improvement
- Interpret schematics and engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
- Document maintenance activities and safety precautions on all equipment worked on
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, and electromechanical devices up to 480 volts such as motors, DC clutches, switches, panels, controls, etc.
- 2 years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs and DC Drives
- Attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams
- Knowledge of standard safety procedures and regulation
Physical Demands
- Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
- Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces
