We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Master Electrician to join our dynamic team.
Scope of Work
Oversee and lead all electrical work, projects, installation, repairs and Preventive Maintenance ensuring that installations and repairs are carried out to code in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. In addition, the supervision of all junior electricians in the operation.
Job Responsibilities
- Train, develop and supervise journeyman and apprentices
- Oversee all electrical work, projects, installation, repairs, and PMs (Preventive Maintenance)
- Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish according to specifications and code, including material takeoffs
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget
- Inspect electrical components
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code and Massport regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on electrical projects
Requirements
- Massachusetts' Master Electrician’s license
- Proven 5 years of experience as a Master Electrician
- Complete understanding of National Electric Code (NFPA 70 and 70E)
- Skilled in control systems -installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to assess a project's requirements and create a comprehensive quote
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and heights
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required.
