G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Overnight Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will assist in the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders as assigned-general mechanical, structure repair, handyman services, painting, etc.
- Preform assigned preventative maintenance tasks and make recommendations for repair, replacing or improving equipment
- Perform light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and carpenter duties as assigned
- Assist co-workers with major electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry related projects
- Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
- Track and document observations, recommendations, and completed assignments through various project and maintenance software systems
- Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices
- Always act in a professional and courteous manner with clients, co-workers, vendors, etc.
- Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Ability to learn new skills and be independent as well as work well within a team atmosphere
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or similar related role
- Ability to communicate using email, and some experience working with a computer
- Available to work evenings/weekends and overtime
- Knowledge of lite plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lock smith, painting, HVAC etc.
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders
- Be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Schedule: To be determined (Weekends Required)
Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Salary : $23 - $28
