Workday Product Owner
Location : Zionsville, IN or Waltham, MA
Job Summary :
The Workday Product Owner is responsible for leading the strategic deployment, management, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform at Group 1001. This includes direct oversight of the Workday Technical Support team and strategic guidance for business resources managing configurations of Workday modules, including HCM, Financials, and Sourcing. The role ensures that Workday is implemented and optimized according to industry best practices, while maintaining compliance with all security and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Ownership :
Develop and manage the Workday roadmap in alignment with Group 1001's business objectives.
Ensure end-to-end process standardization across all Workday modules.
Ensure proper security roles, functional segregation, and access controls are established and maintained.
Directly manage one team member, a Director responsible for leading the Workday Technical Support team, ensuring alignment with platform goals and objectives.
Establish robust data reporting capabilities to drive data-informed decision-making across modules.
Qualifications :
10 years of experience with Workday, including strategic ownership of platform implementations and management of multiple modules (e.g., HCM, Financials, Sourcing).
Strong background operating at a senior leadership level, effectively communicating with executive stakeholders and vendor partners.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and timely delivery.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Compensation :
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $250,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
